Yesterday, the Gamecocks won 3 more games on the diamond, with the softball team picking up two wins on the road, and the baseball team winning one at home. One piece of news really got my attention...
Kristin Graham, the junior that pitches, plays first base, and leads the team in home runs had an outstanding day. Kristin pitched 5 innings yesterday. Of the 15 outs she recorded, 14 were strikeouts - a truly dominant performance!
On the baseball diamond, JSU picked up a big win over state-rival Auburn, 5-4. While expected, the win is still a big win for the program this year. Tonight, the team travels to Tuscaloosa to face the Tide.
