A Quick Look At EKU

Two teams have beaten JSU in the last two seasons, EKU and Tennessee Tech. JSU has won every other conference game. Here is a quick look at EKU's primary losses and returning players (info obtained from EKU message board):

EKU lost four devensive starters:

DT 70 Emory Attig (6-2, 281, Sr.)
SLB 6 Tyson Patrick (6-2, 234, Sr.)
LCB 14 Jeremy Caldwell (5-10, 180, Sr.)
SS 35 Patrick McClellan (6-4, 212, Sr.)

Caldwell was also a good special teams player and was signed to a free agent contract by the Rams.

EKU has 8 returning starters that earned First Team All OVC last year:
