Gamecocks Add Kicker Gilley

Gadsden City High School kicker Paul Gilley will be joining the Gamecocks as a preferred walk on. Here is a blurb from gtpreps.com about Gilley:

Gilley was a two-year starter for the Titans, and even though he will be walking on with the Gamecocks, he expects to compete for the kicking job.
“I plan to go there and take care of business,” Gilley said. “I want to go kick. Hopefully it will be a good experience for me.”
Gilley said that his junior year he was consistent from 40-yards in and that his range has grown to about 47-yards.
“He’s been a solid kicker for us and has gotten stronger and stronger,” Billingsley said. “He’ll do well at Jacksonville State.”
