We will have more later, but five quick observations:
1) there is not a cooler quarterback under pressure in the country than Marques Ivory;
2) Tig had a coming out party tonight;
3) Can you believe A. Bonner is just a soph;
4) this team never quits and never stops believing; and
5) a great vocal, home crowd tonight.
Lets take over Cookeville, Tn. next weekend. WAY TO GO GAMECOCKS!!!

1. SEMO is good, for a one-dimensional team. Take away their QB and tailback and they would be an average team. JSU definitely has more overall talent.
ReplyDelete2. We kept them in the game, with stupid penalties (it seemed like we had a lot more than 53 yards in penalties) and fumbles and an interception.
3. Esco had a great game.
4. Ivory is talented and maddening at the same time.
5. O-line, defense, and special teams were all great.
6. Blanchard had an uncharacteristically bad game and we could have used him. He must have had the flu, or something.
7. Young's injury looked serious and he will be missed.
8. I hope we don't think we have the conference title won already and have a letdown against Tenn. Tech.
9. The crowd was awesome and very loud.
10. I think we will be number 4 in the FCS this week. Two teams ahead of us, Wofford and William & Mary, lost on Saturday.
11. I think we will be number 2 or 3 going into the playoffs. App. St. plays Fla. Gators on Sat. and Delaware plays Villanova.
