The Gamecocks have found a quality mid-year transfer in Dominique Smith a defensive back from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Smith is walking on with the Gamecocks, but appears to have the credentials to earn a scholarship. He made the Emerald Coast Dandy Dozen Team and was a 4-A All State player. The Gamecocks have found a lot of good players from the Panhandle of Florida including Spiderman Smith and the Whiddon Brothers.
