We started Gamecockillustrated.com about five months ago and have had over 12,000 hits on our site. We are proud of it. We have really enjoyed doing covering the Gamecocks and doing interviews with people such as Jana McGinnis, Jimmy Ogle, Ronnie Letson, Coach Smouse, Coach Norwood and Coach Augustine. The chance to talk to Gamecock athletes like Allie Barker, Brandt Thomas, Reggie Wade, T.J. Heath and Josh Cain has been great as well.
While we are proud of what we have done so far, we want to attract even more readers. If you have the chance, please email a link to our site, www.gamecockillustrated.com to any students, fans or others you know that may be interested in learning more about JSU sports.
To our knowledge, there are two great sources for information about JSU. The Anniston Star and JSU's athletic website. However, we want to be the third. And, as an independent source of information, and unabashed fans of JSU, we can offer coverage that is different from either of these mediums.
